Print marketing is not dead!

Printed marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets and flyers are still commonplace in business, despite the introduction of newer online promotional tools. Print (75%) is more effective than digital (45%) for brand recognition, and it has a more positive affect on the consumer, particularly in the B2B market, making them more likely to engage with your brand.

Despite this, companies can be put off by low quality leaflets and flyers. Read our 5 top tips on how to create an effective flyer for your business…

1. Make it Visual

We look at images way before we read text. Your flyer needs eye catching visuals to be engaging.

2. Mention the Benefits

Don’t reel off the features of the products / services you offer, mention the benefits of using your company. Always answer ‘what’s in it for me?’ from your customers perspective.

3. Keep it Short and Sweet

The text on your flyer needs to be really snappy and straight to the point. No waffle! Use short sentences, lists and bullet points to make your flyers easy for your audience.

4. Get Personal

A personal, conversational tone can help to engage your reader. Speaking to them in a conversational style, like a real person will help your business appear more human.

5. Call to action

Always include a clear call to action. What do you want your reader to do?
