CDP charity night raises  £4,000

Last week we raised over  £4,000 for Jamie Carragher ‘s 23 Foundation at a special charity night attended by over 280 at the Adelphi Hotel.

The special night was attended by LFC legends and supporters alike, and marks over a decade that we have been supporting local charities in memory of our Founder, Joe Scanlon, raising over  £100,000 so far.

The event was not without controversy, with a cancellation by Bierkeller just 3 days before, we were rescued by the event team at the Adelphi Hotel, who swooped in last minute to pull off a spectacular evening.

Managing Director, Paul Bracken said:

 œAt CDP, we care about the lives of local young people in our local communities. We support a different local charity every year and have raised over  £100,000 since we started. The event was a great success thanks to Mark and Gemma in the event team at the Adelphi for stepping in to help us! We didn ‘t want to let any of the supporters down last minute. We ‘re delighted to have raised over  £4,000 for such a good cause. 

Attended by LFC Legends John Barnes, fans from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Thailand and Germany, the amazing event was hosted by Peter Hooton and raised the funds for a charity close to the hearts of the CDP team. The Foundation, set up in 2009, aims to make a difference to young people by offering to  help give local kids a chance ‘, supporting sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and organisations that provide services for young people.

We have raised  £7,500 for the charity so far this year and will be holding more events throughout the year, stay tuned.
