CDP raises thousands for charity through World Cup sticker book project

World Cup fever took over at the CDP offices over these last few weeks – and not just for obvious reasons.

We were lucky enough to be part of a special project led by Liverpool artist Dave Will – creating an alternative World Cup sticker book for missing footballers.

Each tournament Panini release a sticker album earlier than final teams are announced – meaning that many players in the competition are not featured.

To combat this, Dave Will invited artists of any skill level across the globe to produce a football sticker each for the 254 missing players as part of the MIFA Project (Missing in Football Album).

We produced a limited edition run of 254 books (one for every player) – they were then put on sale and sold out within a week.

All profits from sales went to our charity of the year Imagine Independence – totalling over  £4,000. This is our biggest charity donation to date.

While this was a very time sensitive project – the book was submitted, produced, delivered and sold out within a little over 10 days – it was incredibly rewarding and something the whole CDP team were keen to get behind.

The project gained international coverage in The Guardian, ESPN, The Times and across social media.
